A Dozen Thoughts Wish Big

Late post today and a quick post! Today started off very busy! The dog wouldn't cooperate...and everything went downhill from there! Oh well. I used A Dozen Thoughts and Blooming with Kindness stamp sets to make my card today!

I need a birthday card and wanted it to reflect something soft! I liked what I came up with. I also used the new Deco Labels Collection Framelits as well as the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder and the Large Scallop Edgelits. Here's the end result!

If you're wondering what the specks are on my card...it's card splatter! I accomplished this by using an Aqua Painter filled with ink refill and alcohol. Very cool technique!

Just Because Beautifully Baroque

I've been frantically wanting to make a card with the new Beautifully Baroque stamp set. Today I was finally able to do that! I've been really busy getting my fingers "Inky" getting my projects ready for the Inky Fingers Summer Session! Registration begins tomorrow and my projects were mailed off today! Yay...I hope my projects are up to par!

Ok...back to my card for today...I liked the stamp the minute I saw it. It's very simple and elegant, oh and I haven't really used my favorite two color combinations together in a while so I used a variation of them. I used Smoky Slate and Crushed Curry (my two favorites together are Basic Gray and Summer Starfruit) but these two work well together! I also used the Beautifully Baroque TIEF and Eastern Elegance DSP...this DSP is one of my favorites. Take a look at the patterns in the paper!

Just love it, can you figure out why? You should see it in person. So here is how my card turned out!

I stamped my image on Shimmery White cardstock and then used the Big Shot along with the new Deco Labels Collection Framelits to die-cut my image...love it!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Beautifully Baroque w: 130895; A Dozen Thoughts w: 131056 c: 131059
Cardstock: Shimmery White 101910, Crushed Curry 131199, Smoky Slate 131202 and Eastern Elegance DSP 130131

A Dozen Thoughts

Happy First Day of Summer! I made a quick card in honor of Summer using A Dozen Thoughts stamp sets with the new In Colors and used some punches in an out of the box way!

I've not been around the past few days because I've been working on my designs for the Summer Session of Inky Fingers! Registration starts next week and I'll have more to share with you then!

Now back to my card! I used the In Color 2013 - 2015 DSP along with the Petite Pennants Builder and Cupcake Builder to make a fun card. The size of my card today was dictated by the sizes of the punches. My card size is 4 1/2" square card, I didn't have time for this post but I will have to make a coordinating envelope using one of In Color DSP. Here's my finished card.

I used the Cupcake punch to make the scoop for my ice cream and used the Petite Pennant punch for my cone. Isn't it great when you can extend the use of your tools for other ideas that intended!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: A Dozen Thoughts w: 131056 c: 131059
Cardstock: Shimmery White 101901, Baked Brown Sugar 131296, Strawberry Slush 131295 and 2013 - 2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack 130136
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar 13174
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot 113439, Magnetic Platform 130658, Labels Collection Framelits 125598, Cupcake Builder Punch 121897, Petite Pennants Builder Punch 122361, Paper Snips 103579 and Dimensionals 104430

Although you can't purchase the kit I'm showing you today you can still sign up for the monthly subscription at www.mypaperpumpkin.com. Alphabet Press Hello

Hello friends! I had fun playing with new products today! I used the new Alphabet Pressed Textured Impressions Embossing Folder along with the Core'dinations paper as well as some other things to create my card today!

The Core'dinations paper is so much fun to play with and it comes in all of our colors...what is neat about this paper is that it is smooth on one side and textured on the other and you can sand it. So I had fun creating a mess sanding my paper! I also played with the new Chalk Talk Framelits, these are going to be a favorite of mine...especially since you can use them to make tags...hello! What a breeze it will be to make tags for gifts at Christmas or heck at anytime you need one for a gift! Here are some of the items I used today!

Beautifully Baroque Wedding Wishes

I'm invited to a wedding this weekend and needed a card so I pulled out some of my new supplies to make one. I used the new Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!

To add some wow to my card I used the Shimmery White cardstock. Once again I found myself without the color of ribbon I needed so I quickly dyed some White Taffeta ribbon using my Wisteria Wonder Ink Refill.

The embossed panel was cut using the Large Scallop Edgelits and then layered onto Wisteria Wonder cardstock and then that panel was layered onto more Shimmery White cardstock.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Petite Pairs w: 128706 c:122497
Cardstock: Shimmery White 101910 and Wisteria Wonder 122922
Ink: Wisteria Wonder 126985 and Wisteria Wonder Refill 122931
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot 113439, Beautifully Baroque TIEF 130917, Large Scallop Edgelits 127019, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon 109070 and Dimensionals 104430
