Afternoon Daydream Note Box

I have been wanting to make this box using the Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin' Kit from the Annual Catalog and figured I better do it soon since the Simply Scrappin' Kit is on the retiring list. The box can be found on page 166 of the Annual Catalog. I found some great instructions on making the box here!

I love using Simply Scrappin' kits for things other than scrapbooking. I still have more supplies left over from the kit, so I think I will make some cards and perhaps a notepad or notebook with the leftovers. Here are my photos from my completed box!

Here is the box standing up and you can see my divider cards that I made.

Since I'm not sure how I will be using, this could be a recipe box, card box or note box I did not stamp on the front of this. Once I decide I will go back and do that.

Supplies Used:
Accessories: Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin' Kit 126927, Vintaged Faceted Designer Buttons 127555, Basic Gray/Basic Black Two-Toned 1-1/4" Ribbon 129295, Hung Up Cute Clips 129389, Glue Dots 103683 and Dimensionals 104430

Quint-Essential Flower and Friendly Phrases

I'm using lots of retiring products that have been my favorite this past catalog season, like Quint-Essential Flower and  Friendly Phrases stamps and especially the color Lucky Limeade.

I made a bright card with these products and pulled in a DSP that is also retiring call Summer Smooches and I pulled my color from the colors in Summer Smooches. I liked the Quint-Essential stamp because it uses lots of punches. So that is exactly how I used it here on my card. Take a look at my card for today!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Quint-Essential Flower Wood 126790 Friendly Phrases Wood 126149 Clear 126151
Cardstock: Whisper White 100730, Tangerine Tango 111349, Real Red 102482 and Summer Smooches DSP 125409
Ink: Lucky Limeade 126984
Accessories: Big Shot 113439, Finishing Touches Edgelits 127010, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch and Dimensionals 104430
