You Are My Sunshine

Hi friends! Today I'll be sharing with you a card I created using one of the new single stamps called Sunshine. There are some really fun new single stamps that were introduced last month you can see them here. I used the Chalkboard technique to create this card.

I knew I wanted my image to be my focal point so I kept it pretty simple! Here's what I came up with!

I cut the image out using the Big Shot and the Scallop Squares Duo die, to make my sun sparkle I added a Large Rhinestone and colored it with a yellow sharpie. Did you know you can have any color rhinestones you needed to match your projects? Just color them with a sharpie...there's your tip for the day!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Sunshine (Single Stamp)
Card Stock: Daffodil Delight 119683, Whisper White 100730 and Basic Black 121045
Ink: VersaMark 102283 and Craft White 101731
Accessories: Big Shot 113439, Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die 120903, Perfect Polka Dots Folder 117335, White uni-ball Signo Gel Pen 105021, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels 129324, Embossing Buddy 103083, Heat Tool 129053, White Stampin' Emboss Powder 109132, Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon 126872 and Dimensionals 104430

Secret Garden Get Well

Hi friends, I hope your weekend is off to a good start! Are you like me...you never seem to have enough Thank You or Get Well cards on hand? Well today I decided to do something about the Get Well cards. I spent some time working on a design that is simple and I can whip these out in just a matter of minutes!

I used the Secret Garden and Perfectly Penned stamp sets to make my card, although this card is feminine I'm sure I could substitute Secret Garden for something else to make it masculine.

Here's what I came up with!

Supplies Used:

Stamp Sets: Secret Garden Wood 129141, Clear 129144, Perfectly Penned Wood 122890, Clear 122892
Card Stock: Early Espresso 119686 and Whisper White 100730
Ink: Early Espresso 126974 and Island Indigo 126986

My finished card looked like this!

My husband thought it was even cool! What a fun way to say Congratulations! Now I need to go order some other colors of Stampin' Emboss Powder.

Curly Cute Thank You

Hi friends! Quick post today! I had fun creating a Thank You that I thought turned out really cute.

I played with my Big Shot and Blossom Punch to create this thank you card. I started out by running Very Vanilla card stock in the Vintage Wallpaper Folder in running it through the Big Shot and then punching it out several times using my Blossom Punch to create a flower. I spritzed the flower with Champagne Shimmer Paint that I used to create a Shimmer Mist.

Here's the finished project! What do you think?

Feeling Sentimental Again

Hi friends! Popping in real quick to share with you a card I received on yesterday at a Stampin' Up! event I attended. I had so much fun. It was a day of stamping and spending time with friends that I haven't seen in awhile and making new ones, and also a time of hearing all about how far Stampin' Up! has come in 25 years! While attending the event we made projects, we swapped projects. So the card I'm sharing with you is a project that I received and the person's name is wasn't included, so I don't know who to give credit to!

Here's the card, I really liked the simplicity of it!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Feeling Sentimental Wood 129627, Clear 129630, Happy Hour Wood 126640, Clear 126642

Clean and Simple Happy Anniversary

Hi friends! Today I'm celebrating my 27th wedding anniversary! Wow, time flies when you're having fun! Happy Anniversary honey if you're reading today!

I created a card to give to my hubby! I thought I would share it with you. It's quick and clean and was very simple to put together. Very little stamping involved and just a few supplies. I bet I spent less on my card than my husband did....LOL!

So here is what I came up with!

I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for my sentiment with a little heart punched in Cherry Cobbler from the Owl Builder Punch, a strip of Parker's Pattern and some Crumb Cake Seam Binding stapled on Crumb Cake card stock. This is all layered on Cherry Cobbler card stock. I would say this probably took me 5 - 10 minutes to make, very quick and easy! On and I stamped my envelope using the Hearts a Flutter set.

Supplies Used:
Stamps Sets: Hearts a Flutter Wood 129249, Clear 129252
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler 119685, Crumb Cake 120953 and Parker's Patterns DSP 131021
Ink: Cherry Cobbler 126965
Accessories: Owl Builder Punch 118074, Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding 122332, Crumb Cake Envelopes 107297 and Stapler

Just Thinking Trifold Card

Hi friends! Quick card to share with you today! I'm using the Just Thinking stamp set again, but I played with a different layout. If you have been following me you know that I like to try different things. So this is truly something different. It's a layout that was shared by Shelli Gardner, the Cofounder and CEO of Stampin' Up!... I hope I did it justice!

This layout really uses the Big Shot and it was perfect for this stamp set and the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies.

Here's my card!

Isn't this a fun card and who wouldn't love receiving it in the mail? As I said I used the Big Shot, the Window Frames Collection Framelits and I also used the Square Lattice Folder, I used the En Francais stamp and used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: En Francais Wood 109521, Just Thinking Wood 129940
Card Stock: Naturals White 102316, Whisper White 100730, Island Indigo 122923, Summer Starfruit 126839, Baja Breeze 111352

My Digital Studio Birthday Card and Download Tuesday

Hi friends! Today is Digital Download Tuesday, new digital content is introduced every Tuesday. You can see what is available in my online store. I thought it would be fun to create a card using My Digital Studio.

I used the Stacks a Millions Content Disc that you can purchase with your hostess benefits with a qualifying party to create my card and printed it here at home, it's considered a hybrid card. What's neat about the Content Disc is that it contains 10 card templates, 2 stamp brush sets, 12 Designer Series Papers and 42 embellishments!

I created a quick birthday card that I will be using this week! Here's my card!

I added some bling with the Rhinestone Basic Jewels and ribbon to my card, I didn't want it to be white so I attached the card front to Pool Party card stock! How fun is that! So quick and simple, if you don't like traditional stamping, you should try the digital route! Also with the downloads today, there is a FREEBIE download for organizing your Craft Room if you use Stampin' Up! colors. Today is also the last day to get discounted Content Disc for $1, yes you read that right! Go check it out!

Supplies Used:
Card Stock: Whisper White 100730, Pool Party 122975
Accessories: My Digital Studio 130647, Pool Party Sycamore Street Ribbon 130812 (Get it FREE during SAB) and Rhinestone Basic Jewels 119246

Just For You and Print Poetry

Hi friends! Late post to share with you today! Monday blah's got to me today, but I survived!

I played with the Creped Filter Paper from the Spring Catalog. If you blink, you can almost miss the product. Why do I say that? Glad you asked, it's plan and begging for attention. So that's what I did. Here's is a image and you can see how plain it is!

Now when I first saw this product, I thought no way am I going to spend $2.95 for that, after playing with it today, I'm glad I did. Want to see what I came up with?

I punched out several scallops in different sizes then I stamped them using the En Francais background stamp in Crumb Cake ink and topped it off with a Summer Stairfruit brad from the Pop-Up Posies Kit! I liked how out it turned out! I added paper from the Print Poetry DSP stack (this paper stack has great patterns in it!) added a scallop border and made a little banner using the stamp that comes with the Pop-Up Posies kit!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: En Francais 109521, Just For You  (Pop-Up Posies Kit)
Card Stock: Crumb Cake 120953, Summer Starfruit 126839 and Print Poetry DSP Paper Stack 129312
Ink: Midnight Muse 126860 and Crumb Cake 126975

Dressed Up Birthday Wishes

Hi friends! Today I finally played with the Dressed Up Framelits from the Spring Catalog to create a quick birthday card. The Framelits are fun by themselves, but when paired up with the All Dressed Up Set there are even more possibilities! Today, I only played with the Framelits...I'll save the stamps for another time, but when you purchase the stamps and framelits together as a bundle you save 15%. Here's what the Framelits look like.

Here's my birthday card!

I used the Twitterpated DSP for my dress, my dressform was cut from Baja Breeze card stock as well as the flower that I punched using the Ittt Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I stamped the greeting from Petite Pairs in Basic Grey, then I ran it through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder. This is all layered on Baja Breeze Card stock.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Petite Pairs 122495 Wood - 122497 Clear

Parker's Patterns Get Well

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing with you a get well card that I created. I participate in a card and prayer group and an email was sent out for a gentlemen needing prayer and get well cards. I have a hard time with masculine cards (especially these kinds)!

In times like these I rely on Designer Series Paper to help me out! I decided to use Parker's Pattern from the Spring Catalog and kept it very simple. Here's what I came up with!

I used a sentiment from the Word Play stamp set and cut my paper from Parker's Pattern using the Windows Frames Collection Framelits, I also added a strip of Natural Cotton Ribbon. I gave the ribbon some texture by embossing it using the Woodgrain Texture Impressions Embossing Folder and sponging on some Early Espresso ink.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Word Play Wood 120308 - Clear 120651
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler 119684, Very Vanilla 101650 and Parker's Pattern Designer Series Paper 131021
Ink: Marina Mist 126962 and Early Espresso 126974
Accessories: Big Shot 113439, Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 127821, Window Frames Collection Framelits 129021, Extra-Large Oval Punch 119859, Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon 127844, Dimensionals 104430 and Stamping Sponges 101610

Here's my finished card!

I stamped the image in Primrose Petals, punched a circle. Added some Very Vanilla Seam Binding and more Designer Series Paper all layered on top of Primrose Petals card stock!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Patterned Occasions Wood 129621 - Clear 129624

Sending a Kiss Honeycomb Style

Hi friends! I attended a demonstrator meeting last night and we had the best time, thanks Rolanda!

We made the card that I will be sharing with you today! It's a Valentine's card and it's masculine, but I think you could change the colors if you didn't want it to masculine. I can see this done in pink/gray!

Here's what the card looks like.

We used the de-embossed side of the Honeycomb Embossing Folder, stamped our sentiment from Petite Pairs and punched using the Petite Curly Label punch that you can earn for FREE during SAB and punched a heart from the Red Glimmer Paper using the Full Heart punch. This is all layered onto a square of First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper and layered on a square of Basic Black with just a touch of the new Two-Tone Basic Gray/Basic Black Ribbon. I really like the clean look of this card!

Here is the inside of the card.

Stamped sentiment from Delightful Dozens and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch and punched a heart from a retired punch, but you could used the Owl Builder Punch and I sponged on Real Red ink.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Petite Pairs Wood 122495 - Clear 122497, Delightful Dozen Wood 122650 - Clear 122652
Card Stock: Whisper White 100730, Basic Black 121004, Basic Gray 121044, First Edition Specialty Designer Paper 121878 and Red Red Glimmer Paper 121790
Ink: Read Red

Just Thinking and Square Lattice Folder

Happy Monday friends! Sweet little card to share with you today!

I played the with new Just Thinking set from the Spring Catalog. This is one of those stamps where you can just stamp it and leave it alone. So I decided to keep it fairly simple, but I did mess with it a bit!

Here's what the stamp image looks like!

Daydream Medallions meets Broadsheet Alphabet and Happy Mail!

Hi friends! I've been making lots of monogram note cards lately and the Daydream Medallions stamp set does a good job with that! I needed a birthday gift and I thought I would just make a set of note cards since I knew the person liked writing. Normally I use the Lovely Letters stamp set when creating monograms but I thought I would try something different!

I went to one of my favorite colors Melon Mambo to create the set as I said I normally use Lovely Letters, so I thought I would do a comparison to see which I liked better. Maybe you can help me decide?

Here is the first card using Lovely Letter Alphabet

Here is the second card using Broadsheet Alphabet

Here is what the inside of the card looks like.

Which alphabet do you like better? I like both, I'm having a hard time deciding which is my favorite, so in the end I decided to make a sets of each and she loved them! Let me know which one you prefer!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Daydream Medallions Wood 126465 - Clear 126467, Broadsheet Alphabet Wood 118724 - Clear 120585, Lovely Letters Alphabet Wood 115030 - Clear 127796, Itty Bitty Bits Wood 117056 - Clear 120060
Card Stock: Whisper White 100730, Basic Black 121045 and Melon Mambo 115320
Ink: Melon Mambo 126948, VersaMark 102283
Accessories: Embossing Budding 103083, Memon Mambo Stampin' Emboss Powder 123223, Heat  Tool, 129053, Stamp-a-ma-jig 101049

How about some Happy Mail in your mailbox? I'm starting something new. I'm working on building my email list but at the same time I need to send out the cards/projects that I make. They don't always have a home. What I would like to do is randomly pick a person each day from my subscribers list and send you some happy mail! Would you like that? I think it would be fun to receive something cool that you weren't expecting, also I might create something that wasn't shared on my blog! So subscribe to my email list and forward this on to any one you think might be interested!
